This page describes 3 common themes that I identified while reading about my classmates and how I would revise my media based on what I've read.
Theme 01
All Phone Apps Are Social-Media Related
Something I noticed is that many students like myself had mobile apps that almost all consisted of social media applications like Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. It's interesting to see that many use phones solely for social media and communication purposes, as there were not many instances of mobile games or productivity apps.
Theme 02
Challenges with Accessibility
A common challenge I noticed that many had was in some form an accessibility issue. Whether it be because of content/copyright laws, licensing issues, or loss of media due to age, the user always faced an issue that made their media inaccessible.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy
I noticed that many people had a sci-fi/fantasy section in their media consumption which I found to be surprising, especially because many people specifically wrote Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. While I know both are very popular, I still found it interesting how common it was.

Media Categorization
From reading others' websites, I don't think I would revise my media categorization, however, I would definitely add more to my hierarchy of media. Something I failed to notice is that paper/physical media is still considered media, therefore, I forgot to write about physical media like books, magazines, etc. I also should have added specific streaming platforms, because I'm definitely more of an HBO person than I am Netflix.
